LANDFILL TOWERS
Fall 2019 - M.Arch - Parsons

MAPS
As we are producing and consuming more and more goods, the most trash we create. NYC produces 14 millions pounds of trash per year that are send hundreds miles away to landfills.

DIAGRAMS
To reduce ground and air pollution, I am proposing a self building landfill tower. Those towers will be composed by stackable containers used for the trash collection and dropped at the site when full.

SITE PLAN + SECTIONS
Located on the East River and accessible by the East Village of Manhattan which is rethinking their resiliency plan, I am also proposing to create a marsh land between the towers platform and the city. It would help prevent flooding on Manhattan.
